Zachary Stockill is an award-winning researcher, writer, and educator based in Santiago, Chile. He writes about politics, human rights, pop culture, and travel for many print and online publications of various repute, including the Huffington Post, PopMatters, and rabble.ca, among others.
Zachary graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Arts in Globalization Studies from McMaster University, and a Master of Arts in History from the University of British Columbia. He has worked with human rights organizations in India and Canada, and is particularly interested in questions around identity, social media, and the cultural politics of tourism.
His hobbies include travel, making art, and writing about himself in the third person. His favourite Beatles record is the “White Album,” which should tell you almost anything else you might need or want to know.
